New Hires 📣

Mariam announcing the new job - Hello everyone! I've been a member of Scrimba for a year thanks to a person for whom I have full respect, appreciation and thanks, and it was the best decision I've ever made. I diligently and successfully completed the frontend career path, earning the certificate in the process. I then created a strong resume and began applying for jobs. I completed a remote internship with a firm, but I continued to apply and got interviews. The Alpha10x startup called me one day as I was working on my laptop and began a conversation with me. We then had three interviews, and I eventually accepted the position of FULL-STACK DEVELOPER with the ALPHA10X, an AI startup that connects the people, capital, and ideas that solve the world's biggest problems. This is my first full-time position with such a fantastic firm as alpha10x, and I'm excited to share it with you along with this occasion and new chapter in my professional life. I want to express my gratitude to Scrimba's wonderful teachers and community members. — HUGE congratulations to Mariam!

Mariam has been hired as a full stack dev for ALPHA10X, an AI startup that connects the people, capital, and ideas to solve the world's biggest problems.

She has done an internship before now but kept applying for jobs. This is her first full-time role, and she is very thankful for Scrimba and the community members. Congrats, Mariam, and best of luck! 🍀

Meet Theo Ntogiakos 🇬🇧! Theo has just switched careers at the age of 49! Recently, he landed a paid apprenticeship and is currently attending a coding bootcamp. Before that, he learned on Scrimba - he joined Scrimba Challenge Week in February and became an active member of our community.

In this episode, Theo shares details about a path that led him here, as well as his approach to learning. He also talks about motivation, self-doubt, and whether he could've shifted gears earlier. He and Alex also discuss the importance of wanting to become a developer for the right reasons.
